hear in the morning. O Lord; in the morning will I
direct my prayer unto Thee, and will look up." Psalm 5:3
I knelt to pray, but not for long.
I had too much to do.
I had to hurry down to school
For homework would be due.
All through the day I had no time
To speak a word of cheer.
No time to speak of Christ to friends,
They's laugh at me, I feared.
But then I sat down with a thought:
What if God had not the time
To hug me close and tell me,
"You are special, you are mine"?
